What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state we all go into every day. This happens just before sleep and on awakening, and at other times when we just daydream. It is not any sort of mind control and it is impossible to hypnotise anyone against his or her will, in effect all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.

It is the ultimate means of achieving your goals by programming the subconscious mind to work in co-operation with the conscious.

Only the positive ideas you choose can remain implanted after hypnosis and help re-programme behaviour, overcome phobias and remove negative thoughts or emotions.

Now for the science bit: -

Weight Loss

A study of weight loss treatments in 1996 showed that treatments with hypnosis were twice as effective as ‘conventional’ methods.
Furthermore analysis indicated that these benefits increased more substantially over time.

Smoking

Hypnotherapy is the most effective way of giving up smoking; this is according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Will power, it turns out, counts for very little.

The results show treatment by hypnosis to be twice as effective as any other method and five times as effective as will power alone.
